Receptor-targeted immunoliposomes for antibody-mediated intracellular delivery of therapeutics. The immunoliposomes directed against the receptor can efficiently bind to and become internalized by receptor-over-expressing cancer cells, resulting in targeted intracellular drug delivery. The cancer cell-specific targeting is a striking enhancement of therapeutic efficacy compared with non-targeted liposomes.
